The Women’s College congratulates alumna Barbara Page-Hanify (1951 – 1953), who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) on 26 January 2024.
Barbara was the first woman in Australia to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) at The University of Queensland, and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to people with intellectual disability.
